Privacy Policy
TesserCam is an AI camera app operated by Liu Feiyu ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how TesserCam collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the app, website, and related cloud services.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use TesserCam.
1. Information We Collect
Account and Sign-In Information
When you create an account or sign in, we may collect your email address, authentication provider identifiers, Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In information you choose to share, and session state needed to keep you signed in. Authentication and account infrastructure are provided by Supabase.
Photos, Images, and Generation Data
When you take a photo, choose a photo from your library, upload an image, or create an AI generation task, we may process source photos, temporary upload images, generated result images, file metadata, generation task IDs, task status, timestamps, failure reasons, model metadata, prompt versions, selected modes, and generation settings.
Photos may include faces, locations, objects, or other information depending on what you choose to capture or upload. TesserCam does not use your photos for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Local App Data
TesserCam may store app settings, language preference, theme preference, prompt options, local generation records, local original-image cache, temporary generated-image files, and purchase, credit, or task-sync state on your device.
Purchases and Credits
If you purchase credits or restore purchases, we may process product identifiers, purchase state, displayed price information, RevenueCat customer identifiers, App Store transaction identifiers, purchase timestamps, credit balance, credit ledger entries, purchase sync events, and generation credit usage. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers.
Feedback, Notifications, Logs, and Diagnostics
If you provide feedback, we may collect task ID, feedback type, tags, notes, and related metadata. If you enable notifications, we may process device notification tokens or token hashes and delivery records. To maintain reliability and security, we may collect API status, error codes, request IDs, upload size, generation timing, model response metadata, network errors, app errors, and basic diagnostic information.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to provide and protect accounts, camera features, photo selection, upload, AI generation, gallery display, saving, task recovery, credit accounting, purchases, purchase restoration, notifications, feedback, support, fraud prevention, policy enforcement, debugging, and legal or platform compliance.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

4. Image and AI Processing
When you submit a generation task, you authorize us to upload and process the selected image through the infrastructure and AI services needed to complete the task. Do not upload images you do not have the right to use or content that is illegal, infringing, abusive, sexually exploitative, non-consensual, hateful, harassing, fraudulent, or otherwise inappropriate.
5. Data Retention
Cloud source images are typically retained only for short-term processing and normally deleted within 24 hours after upload. Cloud generated result images are typically retained for viewing, download, and recovery and normally deleted within 7 days after generation. Generation task records, prompt snapshots, credit ledger entries, and purchase sync records may be retained for account history, billing, dispute handling, safety, audit, and debugging until account deletion or an applicable cleanup policy. Local cache remains on your device until you clear it, delete related records, uninstall the app, or the operating system removes it.
6. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You can disable camera, photo library, and notification permissions in iOS Settings. To request account deletion or data deletion, contact us at liufeiyu135@gmail.com. If the app provides an in-app deletion option, you may also use that option.
7. International Transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries or regions other than where you live. Where required, we use reasonable safeguards for international transfers.
8. Children's Privacy
TesserCam is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted transport, authentication, access controls, scoped backend permissions, signed object URLs, and operational logging. No transmission or storage system is completely secure.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date and, for significant changes, provide notice through the app, website, App Store listing, or another reasonable channel.
