Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of TesserCam, an AI camera app operated by Liu Feiyu ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using TesserCam, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use TesserCam.
1. Service
TesserCam lets you capture photos, choose images from your photo library, upload images to create AI generation tasks, view and save generated images, submit feedback, purchase and use credits, and receive notifications about generation task status. Some features depend on network access, device permissions, App Store purchases, cloud services, and AI model availability.
2. Accounts
You may need an account to use cloud generation, purchases, credits, and sync features. You are responsible for keeping your account and device secure. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been used without authorization.
3. Device Permissions
TesserCam may request camera, photo library, notification, and network access. You can manage permissions in iOS Settings. Disabling permissions may prevent related features from working.
4. User Content
"User Content" means photos, images, prompts, feedback, notes, and other material you capture, upload, submit, or generate through TesserCam. You keep the rights you lawfully hold in your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, limited license to host, upload, process, transmit, display, save, and otherwise use User Content as needed to provide, protect, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve TesserCam.
5. Prohibited Use
You may not use TesserCam to upload, generate, distribute, request, or facilitate illegal, infringing, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, hateful, abusive, sexually exploitative, non-consensual intimate, impersonation, or privacy-violating content. You may not bypass safety systems, credit accounting, payment flows, access controls, or technical limits, or reverse engineer, scrape, automate abuse, or interfere with the service.
6. AI Generated Results
TesserCam uses AI models to process images. Generated results may be inaccurate, incomplete, unstable, unexpected, or unsuitable for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing generated results before sharing, publishing, or using them commercially.
7. Credits, Purchases, and Refunds
TesserCam uses credits for image generation. In the current MVP, one image generation costs 2 credits.
Credit packs are consumable in-app purchases sold through the Apple App Store. Available launch packs may include Mini (6 credits, 3 generations), Standard (40 credits, 20 generations), and Pro (100 credits, 50 generations). Prices are shown in the App Store purchase sheet and may vary by country, tax, currency, and Apple pricing rules.
When a generation task starts, credits may be reserved or deducted. If a generation fails because of a system or provider error, we aim to return or release the reserved credits. If you cancel a task before it is processed and cancellation is supported, we aim to release or return the reserved credits. Credits are not legal tender, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred or redeemed outside TesserCam unless required by law.
Payments, refunds, and billing are handled by Apple. To request a refund for an App Store purchase, use Apple's refund process. We may also help investigate duplicate purchase sync, missing credits, failed generation, or abnormal order issues when you contact us.
8. Third-Party Services
TesserCam relies on third-party services including Supabase, Cloudflare, OpenAI, RevenueCat, Apple, and Google. These services may have their own terms, policies, availability limits, and regional restrictions.
9. Intellectual Property
TesserCam's software, design, interface, branding, code, documentation, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as allowed by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of TesserCam.
10. Feedback
If you submit feedback, ideas, reports, or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation to improve TesserCam.
11. Termination
You may stop using TesserCam at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, abuse the service, or use TesserCam in a way that may harm users, third parties, the platform, or our infrastructure.
12. Disclaimers and Liability
TesserCam is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.
13. Apple Terms
If you downloaded TesserCam from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that Apple is not a party to these Terms, Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for TesserCam, and in-app purchases and refunds are handled under Apple's App Store rules.
14. Regional Availability
TesserCam may be available only in selected countries or regions. We may restrict access, downloads, purchases, or generation features for legal, platform, payment, AI service, safety, or operational reasons.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date and, for significant changes, provide notice through the app, website, App Store listing, or another reasonable channel. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
